Welcome home 2011 Participants!

The 2011 Photo, Essay, and Video Contest will be open until September 15th.  You may enter any or all of the contests as many times as you like. The winner of each contest will receive a $100 thank you prize for helping us tell the AMIGOS story to the world! 

Essay Contest

Submit your essays, journal entries, reflections, or poems to this contest! We'll use these entries (and excerpts from these entries) to tell the story of AMIGOS to potential Volunteers, donors, and the greater AMIGOS community. There is no minimum word or maximum word count this year. Click here to submit a written entry.

Video Contest

Submit your edited videos of your summer experience to this contest! The focus of the video can be a reflection of your summer, AMIGOS in general, or a specific aspect of your experience (for example explaining the CBI process). Videos must be 3 minutes or less. Photo Contest

Submit your favorite photo(s)! This year, we are asking that you upload your photos to a third party photo site (such as FlickR or Picasa) and send us the link to the album(s). There is no limit to the number of photos that you can submit in this manner, but please note that by submitting your album(s) you give AMIGOS permission to use/publish any of those photos. Your pictures will help us paint a picture of the AMIGOS experience in places like recruiting materials, our website, and in newsletters.  We will choose winners in multiple categories, and the over-all top photo will receive the $100 prize.  Click here to enter the photo contest.
