Glenn received his Master of Social Work degree, with a concentration in Political Social Work, from the University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work in 1997. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Tufts University.

Prior to joining AMIGOS in July 1999, Glenn worked in a variety of non-profit and public sector settings, including the United Way of the Texas Gulf Coast, the Harris County Health Department, the Mental Health Association of Greater Houston, and the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG). He is also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras (1987-89) where he was an Adult Literacy Promoter and Liaison to the Honduran Ministry of Education. Glenn has extensive experience in program management, strategic planning, volunteer administration, and training.

Although a native of New York City, Glenn has called Houston home since 1991. He enjoys playing softball and racquetball, as well as dancing, movies, and keeping as current as possible on news, politics, and social issues. Glenn shares a home with life partner Jerry, and their dogs – Cody, Zeus and Lucas.
