Mario Molina has been with AMIGOS since 1988. He has both non-profit and private sector experience managing people, projects, and financial reporting systems. His experience extends over 20 years in management positions both domestic and international.
Mario graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Juris Doctor from the Universidad Catolica Centroamerica in Managua, Nicaragua. He has also earned a Masters in Business Administration (with a concentration in Finance and International Business) from the University of St. Thomas, in Houston, Texas.
Before joining AMIGOS, Mario held many management positions with companies such as Corporacion Financiera Industrial S.A. (C.F.I), the Nicaraguan affiliate of British American Tobacco, Abela-Hardy’s Inc., and Memorial Hermann Hospital Systems. He also held the position of Comptroller for the Association for the Advancement of Mexican Americans (AAMA) in Houston, Texas for four years. AAMA is a non-governmental agency that provides social services in the state of Texas. He was responsible for overseeing the finance and administration department that served more than forty service programs.
"Amos" as his four year old grandson (Nicky) calls him, spends most of his free time with his family. He has been married for over 35 years and has four daughters, three sons-in-law, three grandchildren and one dog.
