AMIGOS Volunteers participate in fundraising to cover a portion of the cost of this program. The funds that are raised go to cover the cost of the training program, domestic and international airfare, safety, in-country transportation, project materials, and program project staff in country. The Albuquerque Chapter holds various fundraisers during the year to help Volunteers raise money. 

The chapter also raises money from the greater Albuquerque area from corporate donors and individual contributions.
