The AMIGOS volunteer experience is something that stays with you for life. Our Volunteers come home with a new understanding and set of skills to continue to be agents of change throughout their lives. This year we were inspired by the incredible work of the Volunteers in Latin America, and for the first time ever, AMIGOS is challenging our recently-returned Volunteers to consider carrying out the community-based initiative (CBI) process at home. 2011 Participants can submit their ideas this month for initiatives that will begin October through December, and AMIGOS will fund 2 of the CBI ideas.
