Make a Bequest

If you would like to help support the critical work of AMIGOS, but cannot make a significant gift today, your solution may be a charitable bequest. Anyone can help ensure the long-term health of AMIGOS youth leadership and community development programs by including us in your will.

By doing so, you will help ensure that AMIGOS can continue to shape young leaders for many years to come. Your attorney can best advise you about ways you can provide for your beneficiaries, and, at the same time, support AMIGOS’ ongoing efforts.
 
Your bequest can be small or large, restricted or unrestricted. A bequest can be made in a will, or by naming Amigos de las Américas as a beneficiary of a revocable trust, retirement plan, or life insurance policy.
 
Some suggestions for naming Amigos de las Américas in your will are illustrated below:
  • Percentage: I hereby devise, give and bequeath _____% of my gross estate as finally determined for Federal tax purposes to Amigos de las Américas.
  • Set Amount: I hereby devise, give and bequeath the sum of $_____to Amigos de las Américas.
  • Residual: I hereby devise, give and bequeath (a percent or all of) the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to Amigos de las Américas.
