Volunteers are trained in the months preceding their summer projects. Activities focus on cultural sensitivity, organizational skills, Spanish language practice, and lesson planning for in-country projects.

The training calender will be posted after December interviews have been completed. The AMIGOS training curriculum is approximately 30 hours spread over 3-4 months.
