2007 Volunteer Experience Survey Results
Results from the 2007 survey demonstrate the powerful impact of AMIGOS' programs.
97 percent of 2007 Volunteers rated their overall experience as good or excellent
We have known for many years that AMIGOS’ programs make an extraordinary impact on the lives of the Volunteers and Project Staff, and during the past several years we have gathered the data to demonstrate that profound influence.
The AMIGOS International Office has conducted a Volunteer Experience Assessment for the past four years, and the results have consistently demonstrated the personal growth young people experience through their participation in AMIGOS’ programs. The 2007 survey results again demonstrated overall satisfaction with our powerful programs as well as the personal growth Volunteers experienced.
The Volunteer Experience Assessment is completed by AMIGOS Volunteers in their host countries at the end of their AMIGOS experience. To ensure the most candid responses, surveys are confidential and not mandatory for Volunteers. Nearly all Volunteers participate in the process. The International Office would like to extend a big 'thank you' to volunteer Bruce Baskett for compiling the results.
