Thank you for your interest in serving on Project Staff. Please read the following guidelines before starting your application:

• It is very important that you carefully read and complete all sections of the application and submit all of the required documents on time.
• All forms in the Project Staff Application must be completed in full and signed by all appropriate parties. All forms are due with the application, unless otherwise noted.
• Type or print neatly in black ink. In order to keep track of all forms and materials submitted to AMIGOS, it is important that you retain a copy of each form for your own records.

Application Deadlines

All 2008 Project Staff positions have been filled. Please check back in the fall for 2009 application information. If you have any questions about Latin America Project Staff positions, please call the AMIGOS Latin American Programs Department at 1-800-231-7796.

Applicant must submit a copy of the passport information page. Please make sure your passport is valid through September 2008. If you do not currently have a valid passport, please apply for one immediately.

Student Research

Students interested in conducting research in Latin America while serving as an AMIGOS Volunteer must obtain advance approval from the AMIGOS International Office. Please contact kkaper@amigoslink.org prior to March 1, 2008. If your acceptance of a Project Staff position is contingent upon AMIGOS’ approval of your research proposal, you must document this requirement with your application (by the application submission deadline).
