WHAT VOLUNTEERS DO:
- Live with a host family in a community or city with one other Volunteer partner
- Serve as an intern with a local or international community development organization
- Collaborate with youth and community members to organize service projects and facilitate extra-curricular activities
- Participate in monthly trainings and excursions all around Nicaragua along with other Volunteers each month
- Create multimedia projects to track and share progress (videos, blogs, etc.)
- Independent research proposals will be considered
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years of high school Spanish or equivalent
- Completion of high school
COST
- Gap Year: $19,500
- Gap Semester: $9,900
- Costs include domestic and international airfare
- Scholarships and fundraising assistance are available
