AMIGOS Volunteers participate in fundraising to cover a portion of the cost of this program. The funds that are raised go to cover the cost of the training program, domestic and international airfare, safety, in-country transportation, project materials, and program project staff in country. The San Francisco Chapter holds various fundraisers during the year to help Volunteers raise money. 

The chapter also raises money from the greater Bay Area from corporate donors and individual contributions.

We have two primary fundraisers, a chocolate and coffee sale and a letter writing campaign. Volunteers and their families are required to fully participate in our fundraising initiatives.
