Bookmark our AMAZON link and shop all year round!

We get referral $ every time you click through our Amazon banner and purchase any items. The product prices are the same for you (as if you'd gone to their regular website) and a little of that trickles in to us for advertising.

After the Amazon page opens, we encourage you to save it as a bookmark for easy access, and encourage you to spread the word to your family and friends to buy on Amazon through that link, too!

Thanks for supporting AMIGOS! or click the banner above.

*Note: This program is different than Amazon Smile - we actually get more money if you click through our banner every time you shop! (about 4-8% paid to us by Amazon)

The Seattle Chapter, chartered in 1970, has sent 1,000+ AMIGOS volunteers from the Puget Sound area to Latin America.

The Seattle Chapter of Amigos de las Américas prepares teens and young adults from Seattle and surrounding areas for full-immersion cultural exchange and community service summer projects in Latin America. We are seeking to inspire and build young leaders through collaborative community development and immersion in cross-cultural experiences.

The Seattle Chapter is one of 26 nationwide chapters of AMIGOS. Each fall, we invite qualified high school and college students, 16 years and older, to join our training program, where we prepare them for a summer of service in Latin America.  To learn about the summer programs our Trainees volunteer on, click here.  Although these programs are made up from volunteers from around the USA, make sure to apply and train with your local chapter!

This summer our Volunteers will be living with host families throughout Latin America.  They will be leading service projects developed in consultation with the local residents. The projects will range from health and hygiene programs for kids, to environmental and nutritional programs, to working in national parks.
