Adriana

Adriana is 17 years old and lives in the city of San Ignacio de Loyola in the department of Misiones. She is a student at the National School of Diversified Secondary Education of Villa Permanent, where she has stood out every year for her excellent grades.
Adriana is part of a musical group in her city. She is an artistic representative whose principal aim is to provide a better quality of life for seniors.
Adriana is considered to have a warm, mature, friendly personality with an unusual social sensitivity. She plays the guitar and is passionate about literature.
"After participating in the International Training in the San Francisco Bay Area in January, my plan was to create a Cultural Center and Library in my community- Ayolas. In Ayolas, we have neither a library nor a space to express ourselves creatively. I love to read and I love art, so this was an opportunity for me to connect my hobbies with the necessity of my community.
The Cultural Center would be a place where community members could go to read and learn about culture and art. When I got back to Paraguay in February, I recruited volunteers to teach how to dance, how to sing, to play an instrument, and to do theater. All of the volunteers agreed to teach for free.
