Eitan is a parent of a 2004 and 2007 AMIGOS Volunteer. He served on the Board of the Peninsula Chapter of AMIGOS and joined the International Board in 2009.

Eitan received a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Michigan. He also holds Masters Degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College.

Eitan has been a technology leader at Bell Laboratories and in Silicon Valley for more than 25 years. Prior to founding InPoint, he was CEO of PnP Networks, Inc., a networking research company. Technology developed by PnP for the federal government has been integrated into InPoint Systems' products. Prior to founding PnP Networks, he served as V.P. of Engineering and Operations for ViewCentral, Inc., a web services company that he also co-founded. Before ViewCentral, Dr. Fenson spent more than ten years as a technologist and executive at several Silicon Valley firms. Prior to arriving in Silicon Valley in 1986, Eitan spent five years working on emerging software technologies at Bell Laboratories.
