New to the Board in 2013, Julie Taylor hopes that through the combination of her education, international health experience, and heart for the underserved, she will prove to be a valuable member of the AMIGOS Board. For the past decade, Julie has spent much of professional time on a range of public health initiatives, including addressing HIV/AIDS in Swaziland, South Africa and Bangkok; and working on refugee public health issues in Haiti. Julie holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Washington, a Master’s of Public Health from Loma Linda University, and a Doctor of Medicine from Michigan State. She currently lives in Sierra Madre, California where she is a Pediatric Resident at Kaiser Permanente.
