Roberto Sanchez MejoradaRoberto Sánchez Mejorada and his wife María Inés have 6 children. Roberto has a degree in Communication Sciences from Anáhuac Univerity, where he was president of the Students Association and afterwards elected president of the Federation of Student Societies of Anáhuac University. During this time, he participated in rescue and emergency supply efforts after Mexico City earthquakes in 1985.

In 1991, he was accredited as an International Communicator by the International Association of Business Communicators (San Francisco, Cal). In 1996 he earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM), where he won a scholarship to finish his specialization in marketing at UCLA in the Anderson Graduate School of Management. In el 2007, he completed updating courses at Georgia Tech University. His professional career began in 1980 as an assistant to the professional photographer, Roberto Shapiro. In 1981 he was hired by Macopel S.A. as a communications manager, and from 1982 to 1987 he held the position of Corporate Communications Coordinator for the Condumex Group, and was head of the Department of Television and Managerial Communication. From 1987 to 2006, he held the position of Director of Communications and Institutional Development for Anáhuac University in Mexico City, an institution directed by the Legionaries of Christ. As director, he lead many initiatives that improved the quality of the university programs and expanded the facilities of Anahuac Campus.

International leaders as Mikail Gorbachev, Ronald Reagan, Margaret Tactcher and Lech Walesa among others, were present at Anahuac campus as keynote speakers in some of the academic events of those years. He also initiated programs targeted at promoting collaboration amongst the Anahuac Jewish and the Catholic communities that resulted in Shimon Peres founding a chair "Catedra para la Paz" to research peace initiatives and the building of the Anahuac University Cultural Center that is dedicated to Yitzhak Rabin.

Beginning in 2005 the congregation of the Legionaries of Christ entrusted to him the directorship of the international communication and institutional relations office based out of Atlanta, Georgia. In January of 2011, he was commissioned to mature the institutional development of Regnum Christ in the Southeastern region of the USA. With his wife and his children they continue to organize mission trips to the town of Malinalco, Mexico. (www.missionmalinalco.org)

He is a founding board of trustee of the Union of Businessmen for Technology in Education, UNETE, A.C., founding advisor of Mexicanos Primero A.C, and of A Favor de lo Mejor, A.C., a member of the Mexican Communication Counsel, A.C., and a member of the board of advisors of Televisa Foundation. In 1991, the Educational Development Counsel granted him the Gold Medal and in both 1995 and 1996, he earned the Gold Quill which is granted by the International Association of Business Communicators, based in San Francisco. In 2000, he received the “Anáhuac Generation” medal from Anáhuac University.

In July 2004, he was elected in San Diego California for a three-year membership on the Board of Trustees of theCouncil of Advancement and Support of Eduction (CASE), an international association based in Washington, D.C., which encompasses over 4,000 universities and educational institutions from all over the world. He is a founding Academic of Number of the Mexican Academy of Communication. He is the author of the book “Toma el Control,” ( www.tomaelcontrol.com) and a participating author of the book “Communication in Organizations” by Carlos Fernndez Collado. Editorial Trillas 2002.
