AMIGOS is recognized as a charitable, educational organization under section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service Code. Donations to AMIGOS are tax deductible, as allowed by law.  AMIGOS requires Volunteers pay a participation fee, which covers only 65% of program expenses. For the remainder, we rely on contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations.
