The eighth annual United Latin America Photo Contest is now open! The deadline for submissions is now July 13, 2012!

Please read the following rules and instructions carefully before submitting your entry(ies):

1. Limit 5 photo submissions per photographer. 
2. The judges are looking for a photo that captures the beauty and character of Latin America. Photos must be taken in a country served by both United and AMIGOS: the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, or Peru. 
3. The winner will receive two coach class tickets to the United Airlines destination of their choice within the continental United States, Central America, or the Caribbean. Black out dates and other restrictions will apply.
4. This contest is open to the public. Employees of AMIGOS/United Airlines are not eligible to participate.
5. By submitting your photo(s) you certify that you are the photographer and that you have rights to the photo(s). You grant the unrestricted right to publish and distribute your submission, with or without credit, to United Airlines and Amigos de las Américas, into perpetuity.
6. Photos submitted with watermarks are not eligible to win.
7. You must upload your photo to an image uploader (e.g. FlickR or Picasa) and submit the link to your photo. 
8. You must read and agree to the Official Rules of Entry
